Newark Castle
Newark Castle is a 12th-century monument in beautiful surroundings. The castle walls stand tall with the River Trent flowing beside it and its beautifully maintained gardens provide a stark contrast of colour.
Couples can choose to exchange vows outdoors beneath the bandstand framed by the historic walls or the atmospheric undercroft surrounded by stone arches creates an intimate setting for up to 50 guests.
Larger gatherings can be accommodated in the grounds by hiring a marquee and your friends and family can make the most of the Grade II listed castle gardens.
