Abbey Pumping Station
Those looking for an unusual setting for their ceremony should look no further than Abbey Pumping Station. This museum of science and technology is set in spacious grounds providing a fabulous backdrop for your nuptials.
Couples can say ‘I do’ in front of 20 guests in the intimate Beam Engine House surrounded by stunning Victorian engineering and decorative features. The adjoining Electric Switch Room is available for your drinks reception for up to 60 loved ones or choose the new marquee which seats 160 guests. Subject to availability the museum’s own mini-railway can transfer guests from the Beam Engine House to the marquee.
