Your East Midlands Wedding - Page number 40 - October/November 2021 (Issue 46)

W ith rocky cliffs and desert-like scenery, Greetwell Old Quarry in Lincoln was the perfect backdrop to this dramatic shoot. Robyn Wood at Perfect Silhouette Hairdressing brought together a group of suppliers to create two completely different looks and the results are simply breathtaking. She says, “I loved taking what’s perceived as bridal and placing it against an unexpected location to see the contrast between the two. I adore the striking and alternative images that are full of inspiration!” The first extravagant look contrasted against the backdrop of the wilderness and moody skies perfectly and featured a beautiful fluffy dress, a bold flower crown and bouquet, bright make-up and curly hair. The second look was a more alternative style with a shimmering-black dress, a dark colour palette for the florals and make-up look, a sleek bun, a statement sequin headband, a black veil and a hand-painted leather jacket. 40
