The Belmont Hotel

The Belmont Hotel is a Victorian building with a tranquil tree-lined walkway. The family owned property has a homely feel and all the function spaces are individually designed in a neutral décor to allow couples to make their day truly personal.

Although the hotel doesn’t have its own gardens, The Oval is adjacent to the venue and is perfect for capturing group photos, while the steps from the original house are great for couple portraits. The Belmont Hotel offers multiple spaces for ceremonies and receptions. The Rose Room is a versatile area that can accommodate 110 loved ones for the ‘I dos’ and wedding breakfast and 200 for the evening celebrations.

The Rowan Room is the ideal location for relaxed and private wedding celebrations with ample room for up to 40 guests for ceremonies and wedding breakfasts. For intimate celebrations, the May Room is perfect.

In the summer months, the venue’s terrace area makes a great spot for a drinks reception and informal pictures.

Couples who book the venue for their wedding and have a threecourse wedding breakfast are offered a tasting session to sample all the delicious dishes. Not only that, but they’ll also receive a complimentary dinner voucher on their first anniversary stay.

With 74 stylish bedrooms, guests can enjoy four-star accommodation with special discounted rates and if nearlyweds book one of The Belmont Hotel’s wedding packages, they’ll receive a complimentary one-night accommodation for the special day.

Things to think about when gifting wedding money

As lockdown restrictions ease and the countdown to May 17th begins, couples will be eager to get their wedding plans back on track, so they can walk down the aisle to say those all-important words - 'I do'.
