Stapleford Park Country House Hotel

Secluded in the heart of some of England’s most picturesque and enjoyable countryside, Stapleford Park Country House Hotel and sporting estate is a magnificent 17th-century house with a relaxed country home atmosphere.

Enveloped within Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown’s calming landscape of the 1770s, the grounds at Stapleford Park are naturally enchanting. Take in the manicured parterres, the walled garden and 19th-century ha-ha, which provides both a protective barrier and an unbroken view of the tranquil landscape beyond.

The Main House offers the ideal setting for weddings, as one of England’s finest stately homes, the interior offers a stunning blend of architecture and grandeur styling. The bedrooms at Stapleford are truly special; there are 55 individually designed rooms that reflect the style of their creators: famous names such as Mulberry, David Hicks and Crabtree and Evelyn have contributed to the hotel’s distinctive style.

There are multiple spaces to exchange vows depending on what couples are looking for. The 18th-century Church of St Mary Magdalene is a great setting for a blessing with its enchanting setting on the estate, imposing tower and historical monuments.

The Harborough Room, with its scarlet Gainsborough silk wallpaper and glittering chandeliers, is a beautiful setting for up to 24 guests. If a more intimate wedding is desired, then The Morning and Gilt Rooms are perfect and bathed in sunlight.

The Orangery is a radiantly airy space for weddings, merging indoors and out with its glass dome and doors opening up to the gardens with stunning house views. It can host up to 150 people. Or why not opt for The Grand Hall, which is perfect for larger ceremonies while the private rooms are ideal for smaller gatherings? Most of these spaces are available for the evening receptions!

The venue’s bridal packages include complimentary menu tasting and a bridal room for the wedding night.
