The 'confetti shot' is a very classic moment when a couple gets married, and the tradition of throwing the confetti makes for fun and beautiful photographs. In recent years, more and more venues and churches are not allowing confetti to be thrown due to the effect it has on the environment. However, the confetti they do allow has to be biodegradable and eco-friendly, making natural petal confetti the perfect choice.

Shropshire Petals is renowned for their natural petal confetti that's handpicked and naturally dried and produced on their farm. They're currently harvesting the 2019 flowers and expect to break their huge harvest of last year, which was more than 850 million petals in a wide variety of colours and petal types. Each of which is 100% biodegradable, eco-friendly and dye-free.

Due to their ever-growing petal ranges, which have developed over the years from trials and demand from brides, Shropshire Petals currently has more 50 different standard colours and mixes for customers to choose from. Using the innovative online Pick & Mix tool, customers can create many more colour combinations to match any colour scheme or theme to ensure the confetti is perfect for their wedding style.

Shropshire Petals pride themselves on having a wide range of fun packaging options including personalised options, confetti pops, confetti baskets, Shropshire boxes and confetti cannons. To help with their carbon footprint, their paper packaging is carbon neutral and 66% of their shipping packaging is made from recycled sources, which can be fully recycled when disposed of.

“As British flower growers, we are continually looking for ways to improve our impact on the environment, which is something we are working hard on for the foreseeable future. We are proud to say that majority of our packaging options are either recyclable or reusable, and we are looking for ways to improve this even further,” explains Marketing Manager, Ashley Evers-Swindell.

Customers can easily create their own bespoke and personalised Confetti Cones, Confetti Pops and new Confetti Pillows. The personalised packaging options enable couples to choose a design, colours, add names, wedding date and then preview it online before purchasing. There’s even the ability to create bespoke designs by uploading their design, logo or monogram.
