The Photography Show & The Video Show launches its First Ever Wedding Album of The Year competition
The Photography Show & The Video Show is...
Vintage-themed weddings doesn't necessarily mean you have to automatically have hair in victory rolls – although they're pretty! There's multiple options available to style hair for this theme. Medium to long hair can be put up in a Gibson roll to add shine and fullness – another option is a Hollywood wave, which always looks beautiful.
For shorter hair types a smaller version of these two looks can be created or French rolls can be achieved with teasing and added hair. Pin curls can be added into any style to give a vintage nod.
Almost any vintage accessory, such as a hair comb, birdcage veil or ornamental headpiece, will make your hair in keeping with the theme. Gypsophila flowers, also known as baby's breath, will look amazing and are budget friendly too!
The key thing to remember when choosing the hairstyle which involves a dry set (whole head of pin curls) and backcombing is to not wash your hair on the day of having a vintage style as the hair will be too soft to hold a vintage-style involving setting the hair and or pinning.
