Local suppliers have teamed up to offer couples tying the knot in the Midlands area the chance to experience a wedding fair from the comfort of their own home during the coronavirus lockdown - meaning the wedding planning hasn't got to stop!
The Midlands Online Wedding Fayre was set up by photographers Tommy James and AJT Images, and bridal hair and make-up artist Laura Timms. "It was an idea to hand-select suppliers that we had either worked with at previous weddings or that we had been following on social media," shares Laura. "to produce a virtual online fayre where couples can view different suppliers from the comfort of their own home.
"We have set a time for each supplier, with pre-recorded videos to be shown so couples can either watch the whole fayre or just watch the suppliers that they require!"
This has been a huge hit with local supplies over the last few weeks, with many added to the waiting list, "We only have 2-4 suppliers for each area so it's not overly full. We try to make sure we get suppliers with different styles to their work so we have variety for couples," adds Laura.
