Find out why we love Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa

Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa is a historic architectural gem nestled in the Northamptonshire landscape and packed full of period charm and character features.

Find out why we love Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa: Image 1 The venue instantly makes couples feel like they've stepped back in time, yet the original features blend seamlessly with contemporary décor and a modern style. The Tudor Great Hall at the heart of the venue is the jewel in its crown, with a huge vaulted ceiling, beautiful leaded windows, an impressive stone fireplace and tapestries draped on the walls. The venue is located within the 2,000-acre Fawsley estate, surrounded by formal gardens and parkland landscaped by Capability Brown in the 1760s.

It was a home built for entertaining Elizabeth I with other monarchs all enjoying its fine hospitality. Lovebirds arrive down an extensive drive, offering a fantastic first impression of what was once a private stately home that has been extended over time. The magnificent Tudor House at Fawsley Hall or the Georgian Knightley Court offers two separate wedding venues on their own. Each has direct access to outside space and gardens, making them ideal settings for bringing the outside in – both offer period charm and relaxed glamour in abundance. Ceremonies and wedding meals can take place in the main Tudor house, with elegant suites offering plenty of natural light from original sash windows. Delicate sparkling chandeliers and impressive feature fireplaces add warmth and luxury to a classic wedding backdrop with 110 people for the ceremony and 90 for the wedding breakfast.

Alternatively, the separate Knightley Court offers a self-contained space to enjoy throughout the day and evening, with its main suite providing the ideal ceremony space for 150 guests. The courtyard is perfect for a drink's receptions and the main suite withits separate bar, lounge area and cinema provides the ultimate wedding venue party space for 250 loved ones in the evening.

The lawns to the front of the hotel can be used for outdoor ceremonies, drinks receptions and games in the evening or the entrance to the formal Tudor house can also host an al fresco ceremony. The period stonework and impressive architecture provide a jaw-dropping backdrop to any special day.

Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa has an AA Rosette restaurant and is known locally for its award-winning dining. There are 60 individually designed bedrooms including 11 impressive suites ideal for the wedding party. There are also rooms above Knightley Court for relatives who don't want to step too far to bed after the party, with the rooms with sofa beds being ideal for families. Onsite there's a spa and health club just perfect for a pre-wedding visit or treatment or a post-wedding energising swim!
