The wedding reception will be hosted in the Main Hall garden with the Grade II listed Main Hall providing the perfect backdrop to the day. The immaculately manicured lawns edged with woodland and secluded lake provide the perfect setting for any outdoor structure such as tipis, marquees or sailcloth tents. The beautiful lake and woodlands surrounding the reception area provide the perfect opportunity for photos and guests to explore.

Brackenhurst has the option for a three-day site hire to allow for set up and takedown of the outdoor structure plus the big day itself. Also offered is a bed and breakfast accommodation in select weeks in August and September at a competitive price. The venue cares deeply about the environment and takes sustainability very seriously. The premise is situated at Nottingham Trent University's Brackenhurst campus, which is one of the most sustainable universities in the world. The new buildings are in the top 10 per cent of sustainable buildings worldwide because of the low-carbon energy technologies and solar panels to power the estate.
