COVID-19 didn't stop this East Midlands bridal boutique

COVID-19 didn't stop this East Midlands bridal boutique: Image 1 It's no secret that COVID-19 bought with it many challenges for businesses across the UK, and indeed the world. Ashleigh Richards Bridal wanted to share with couples how it has affected the business from the very beginning, and how the team are thrilled to have come out the other side. It's a testament to the wonderful community that the bridal industry brings. Now, more than ever, designers, suppliers and stockists have pulled together to enable the company to offer a magical and memorable experience for brides on their journey finding their dream dress. Owner and founder Ashleigh Oseland says: "One week before the pandemic struck, we were due to sign a lease on a new premises and launch Ashleigh Richards Bridal – talk about timing! However, here we are, approaching August 2020, and we can proudly say we've successfully worked from home throughout the entire lockdown."

With support from amazing designers, the business is still able to offer the most beautiful collection of wedding dresses, and we're ready to launch a brand-new boutique in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire. Ashleigh adds: "This has been our dream, so there was absolutely no way anything was going to stop us achieving it. Not even a world pandemic!"

With Ashleigh's eight years' experience and Anna's passion and knowledge of the bridal world, the help of talented designers, and support of small businesses, the team were never in the mindset of giving up or giving in. Ashleigh continues: "We have embraced the challenges Covid-19 has bought, we've used this time to grow and develop and create a beautiful bridal boutique for brides-to-be. We have ensured that we're able to create a safe space for our brides and their guests, in a warm and welcoming setting. We're looking forward to meeting our brides, and we are thrilled beyond belief to have started a business in what could be described as the worst crisis in decades."
