Hemswell Court is an elegant Georgian-style building which has two large function rooms with an impressive collection of antique furniture and décor. One boasts a spacious bar area and a dancefloor while the other overlooks the beautiful tranquil gardens.
The venue is approached through a beautiful tree-lined avenue, and prestigious ex-RAF officer's mess stands proudly in superb andspacious grounds with an array of plants, trees and flowers. The façade of the premises with its Georgian sash windows looks out onto the turning circle and bandstand with the seasonal wisteria playing host to a grand entrance.
The elegant private drawing room for civil marriages can seat up to 85 guests, offering high-ceilings and is decorated with neutral tones and a garden view. This room has privacy blinds for a candlelit ambience should it be required. For larger civil marriages, the Primrose Room can seat up to 120 guests, this room offers a traditional open fireplace for those cooler days and an original hardwood floor. Outside, the grounds can seat 10 to 150 guests, with the bandstand being used for the bride and groom to exchange their vows. The private dining room is perfect for small intimate receptions and can seat 32 guests on the gorgeous extendable dark wood tables surrounded by antique chairs. The light and airy Primrose Room, with additional chandeliers this can seat up to 120 guests for a recpetion.
The Ballroom incorporates a spacious bar area that will seat up to 150 guests. For evening receptions, the venue has the capacity to go up to 200 with the additional use of the in-house disco and dancefloor. The venue has 25 en suite 5* AA rated bedrooms, which includes a full Lincolnshire breakfast the following morning, there's even a private, secure car park for all guests.
Lovebirds will have exclusivity of the premises from the moment they arrive until their departure on the following day.
