Nestled amongst rolling hills, Shottle Hall stands on the edge of Peak District National Park and forms part of the famous Chatsworth House Estate. Built in 1861, Shottle Hall is the picture-perfect country house wedding venue that has been expertly designed with weddings in mind and boasts breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

The hall blends Victorian charm with modern luxury and features generous public areas for guests to enjoy, including comfy lounges and a traditional library with leather sofas and a secret doorway hidden among the books! Ceremonies take place in multiple areas, The Hall (90 guests) is a classic, light and airy space while The Orangery (150) offers floor-to-ceiling windows and a statement chandelier. If the weather holds up the Garden Pavillion (150) is perfect for exchanging vows. Or why not opt for The Coach House (80) which is ideal for rustic weddings? Both The Coach House and The Orangery can be used for receptions to keep the celebrations going.

The experienced team deliver a personal and bespoke service and can cater for a small intimate celebration or a more lavish affair. A dedicated wedding coordinator will be there for couples every step of the way.
