Natalie Kate at Natalie Kate Makeup Artist at The Blossom Rooms shares her top advice for getting your skin hydrated. She says, "Firstly, let's try to find out why you have dry skin. Is it incorrect skincare, a condition such as eczema, or even additional factors such as central heating and harsh weather at the moment? Once you find the cause, you can work on relieving the dryness to make you feel more comfortable. Secondly, I'd recommend seeing a skin specialist or facialist for some TLC treatments on the run-up to your wedding day so you feel less self-conscious.
"And thirdly, it’s all in the prep for the make-up. As long as skin is hydrated with professional products your make- up will last longer, feel nicer to wear and look beautiful. Opt for hydrating primers, moisturisers and setting sprays. Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base is a favourite of mine, as well as Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream for more dry skin types; both are 2-in-1 products mixing prep with skincare to ensure skin looks and feels lovely."
