Learn more about this Edwardian wedding venue
The Dower House is an elegant, Edwardian hotel that features beautiful red-brick walls, stunning windows and mock-Tudor timbers. With simple lines and beautiful shapes, the building creates the perfect backdrop for wedding celebrations and photographs. The beautiful stained-glass window in the main house looks amazing in pictures as well as the large fireplaces in the Garden Room and Harry’s Bar.
Exchange vows outside under the majestic weeping willow at the romantic Folly with 120 people or the Oak Room with 80 guests under the sparkly ceiling. If couples are saying ‘I do’ in winter, the Garden Room is perfect with a large open fire for 30 loved ones to enjoy. For a more intimate wedding, the Private Dining Room is full of Edwardian charm and can accommodate 12 people. The team can transform The Oak Room and The Garden Room into a reception space.
Other reception areas include the Seasons for 80 guests, which opens up to accommodate more for dancing or the Orchard Suite with
beautiful high ceilings and chandeliers for 120 people for the wedding breakfast and 180 for the evening. The enthusiastic and friendly staff are always willing to go that extra mile to make a couple’s day as special as can be. The experienced wedding planner will help remove any added stress and ensure the day runs smoothly.
The Elegance and Indulgence Packages both include a complimentary tasting session to help couples select a menu for the wedding breakfast as well as a night’s stay in the honeymoon suite on the wedding night. The Indulgence Package offers two bedrooms the night before the wedding to allow couples to get ready without rushing.
