Double transplant survivor and fashion designer Richard Gair who has cheated death twice, has programmed his mindset to think in positive way. This has driven him to reach for his dream of setting up his own business.

Since May last year GoGairy Hand Painted Leathers offers bespoke and painted leather designs - these have even been endorsed by big names in metal like Saxon and other celebrity clients.

His work has been seen on TV adverts like the Christmas commercial from House of Fraser and the very rock and roll Aunt Bessies Home Chips. Now looking at the higher end fashion market, he has now branched out into the wedding market, offering bespoke wedding jackets, shoes and accessories for happy couples.

He has appeared on the catwalk at Liverpool Fashion Week and Manchester Fashion Week and is hoping to go to Los Angeles in September for a show. He also plans be tour the UK at various shows around the country this year.

Richard said, "I've been told my business is a waste of time, but the orders are coming in and I work with an incredible team that uplift me every day and that is what keeps me going. My health isn't the best and I am in daily pain, but I am alive, and I have big plans for GoGairy. I've been given a second chance and I'm not going to let this one go GoGairy is going places this year!"
